loosen

suzanne boucher
Breathe in and the cool air

Fills your head

Loosens up the

Tight bands that

Grip there

Wind blows hair back

Smoothed wrinkles furrows and

Worry lines flat

And calm

Sun beats on head

Face arms legs

Into your tight insides

Until they loosen

Laughter takes away

The edge the worry

The tension tightening

And washes it clean

To start things

Fresh again
